Rhody Madness To Take Keaney Gym By Storm on October 12

KINGSTON, R.I. -- The Rhody men's and women's basketball teams tip off the 2012-13 season on Friday, Oct. 12 with Rhody Madness, held at 7 p.m. in historic Keaney Gymnasium.  Rhody Madness is free to the public and the first 1,000 fans will receive an exclusive T-Shirt.

Rhody fans will be treated to a slam-dunk contest and a scrimmage with the men's basketball team.  The Rhody band, cheerleaders, and Ramettes will also be performing in support of Rhody Madness.  Immediately following Rhody Madness, both teams will hold an autograph session.

Additionally, season ticket holders will have the chance to pick up their 2012-13 season tickets booklets.

Rhody Madness is presented by Dunkin Donuts in association with Beltone Hearing Aid Centers, Rhode Island Blood Center and The Mews Tavern.
