Rhode Island Leads After Day Two of Harold Anderson Invitational

How it Happened: 
After the first two days of the Harold Anderson Invitational, Rhode Island leads the meet with a score of 505.50. The Rams have won four of the 12 events so far. 

Keely Hemminger claimed the first event of the meet, winning the 1,650-yard freestyle event by a decisive margin on Friday night. Rhody tried to claim the first event of Saturday's racing as well, but the team of Kaitlyn Bansky, Nicole Petta, Caitlin Guccione and Eliza Anderson tied Assumption College down to the millisecond in the 200-yard medley relay (1:46.78).  

Of the last five events on Saturday night, the Rams claimed two of them. Nicole Petta won the 100-yard breaststroke comfortably and Caitlin Guccione won the 100-yard butterfly event.

The Rams will return to the Tootell Aquatic Center tomorrow morning for the final day of the Harold Anderson Invitational. The morning session is set to begin on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 9:30 a.m.
