KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island's Austin White and Mike Webb have been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team while Josh Brodeur earned All-Academic honors, announced Wednesday afternoon by the conference office.

A native of Portland, Conn., White wrapped up the regular season leading Rhody in hits (54), walks (31) and runs scored (36). He ranked second on the team in stolen bases (15-for-15) and was third in both batting average (.310) and on-base percentage (.425). White also earned A-10 Second Team accolades in 2019.

Webb - who transferred to Rhode Island from Division III Rhode Island College - posted an impressive 7-1 record on the mound, including a perfect 5-0 showing against A-10 competition. He owned a 2.20 ERA in league play and recorded 29 strikeouts opposite just six walks. Through 32.2 innings, the Pawtucket, R.I. native held conference opponents to a .218 batting average.

One of 12 Atlantic 10 players to earn All-Academic honors, Brodeur is currently pursuing his MBA after obtaining his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering. On the field this season, he started 43 of his 45 games played, hitting .294 with eight doubles, 18 RBI and 32 runs scored. He also was a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen base attempts. A product of Cumberland, R.I., Brodeur has been named to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, as well as URI's Dean's List, every possible semester during his time at Rhode Island.

The third-seeded Rams will open play at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championship against second-seeded Dayton, Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The winner of that game will advance to take on the winner of Thursday's tournament opener between top-seeded VCU and fourth-seeded Saint Joseph's, while the losers of both games will meet in Thursday's 7 p.m. elimination game.
