KINGSTON, R.I. – Rhode Island sophomore defense end L.B. Mack III was one of 10 players to earn STATS FCS National Defensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention recognition.
Mack had a monster performance against Brown Saturday night, recording a career-high 10 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss. One of the TFLs was a strip sack that resulted in a fumble recovery by the Rhode Island defense. Mack also had a pass break up and was credited with four quarterback pressures.
