KINGSTON, R.I.- This Saturday, Rhode Island senior Allie Reilly has a shot to earn a medal at the World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria with Team USA's PR3 Mix4+.

By winning their respective heats on Monday morning, both Team USA and Team Great Britain guaranteed their spots in the A Final that will take place Saturday, Sept. 15 at 4:15 a.m. EST. The rest of the field was determined in a repechage heat that took place early this morning. Australia, France, Canada and the Ukraine claimed the last four spots of the six-boat final that will determine the world champion.

The Brits are the favorite to win this race, as the last time they were not on the top of the podium was at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing. Since then, Team Great Britain has dominated the Paralympic entry for the 4+, winning eight straight gold medals.

Reilly and Team USA will look to snap Team Great Britain's winning streak in the final this weekend.
