KINGSTON, R.I. – After playing just one of its first 27 games at home, Rhode Island begins a stretch in which it plays nine of the next 10 games at the URI Softball Complex.

This week, the Rams (11-16) will host Fairfield in a single game Wednesday afternoon. This weekend, Rhode Island welcomes George Mason to town for a three-game conference series. It starts with a doubleheader Saturday at noon.

Series History
vs. Fairfield – 8-17
The teams will meet for the first time since 2016, when Fairfield won 10-0 in six innings. Rhody's last win in the series came in 2014, when the teams split a doubleheader. The Rams took the opener, 4-3, and the Stags won the nightcap, 2-1.

vs. George Mason – 6-12
While George Mason holds the all-time series lead, Rhode Island won two of three last season. The last of the three games was a 6-4 victory in 11 innings. Adriana Toro and Erica Robles reached on back-to-back errors to start the 11th inning, and Kylie Shivery drove both in with a triple to provide the winning margin.
