Anthony Randall was promoted to associate head coach for the women's swimming and diving team in August of 2014.
Enters his fifth season with the program in 2015-16, Randall is the team’s recruiting coordinator while also working primarily with sprinters and breaststrokers. He also coordinates the team’s dry-land training.
In the summer of 2013 and 2014, Randall worked at both the University of Southern California's summer swim camp under internationally known head coach Dave Salo and for head coach Matt Kredich’s camp at the University of Tennessee.
A 2007 URI graduate, Randall earned his degree in journalism and public relations. He was a four-year letter winner at URI, a four-time Atlantic 10 swimming finalist and he captained the swim team his senior year in 2007.
The Harrisburg, Pa. native previously coached the 2010-11 URI men's club swim team, which had an undefeated season. The team is also the 2011 National Club Team Champions, at which many swimmers performed lifetime bests in 75 percent of their swims at the Championship meet.
From 2007-08, Randall coached the East Greenwich High School girl's swim team, which finished second place at the Rhode Island High School Championships. He also coached the boy's team, which finished fifth at States in 2008.
