Rhode Island dropped its fourth straight match, getting swept 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 by Clemson Saturday afternoon at the Penn State Invitational.

Rhode Island (4-7) struggled to establish rhythm on offense, hitting just .100 as a team. Rhody had 21 attack errors despite it being just a three-set match. Clemson (5-6) was not much better offensively, hitting just .146 as a team. The Tigers used a strong serving game to create an advantage. Clemson had nine aces, compared to just three for the Rams.
