KINGSTON, R.I. – Seniors Kate Capistran and Hannah Milam earned First-Team Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors, the league announced Saturday. Fellow senior Chloe Beach and junior Lily Herberger were named to the second team.
It is the second straight season Capistran has earned one of the 11 spots on the first-team all-conference squad. The Manchester, N.H. native spent three seasons with Rhode Island and has been a two-time all-conference honoree and the program's first CRCA All-American.
Milam, a Woolwich, Maine native, earned her second all-conference honor. In addition to this year's recognition, she earned a spot on the A-10 Academic All-Conference team in 2013.
Beach and Herberger (pictured below) were both first-time all-conference honorees. All four women were on Rhode Island's Varsity 8 boat that placed second at Saturday's Atlantic 10 Championship.
