The University of Rhode Island (URI) recognizes the accomplishments of its recent graduates and seeks to foster their continued engagement with the university community. To encourage participation in athletic events, URI offers a Young Alumni Season Ticket Discount to those who have received an undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island within the last 10 years, or a graduate degree within the last 5 years.
Policy Details:
Eligibility:
a. The Young Alumni Season Ticket Discount is available to individuals who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree program at the University of Rhode Island within the last 10 years OR a graduate degree program at the University of Rhode Island within the last 5 years.
b. Individuals graduation status and eligibility will be confirmed through URI Foundation and Alumni Engagement.
Discount Amount:
a. The Young Alumni Season Ticket Discount entitles eligible individuals to a specified percentage or dollar amount reduction on the regular season ticket price for URI athletic events.
b. The exact discount amount will be determined and communicated by the URI Athletics Department.
Purchases and Redemption:
a. Eligible individuals must purchase Young Alumni Season Tickets through the designated Young Alumni ticket option on the GoRhody.com Website or by speaking directly with a ticket representative.
b. The discount will be applied at the time of purchase or upon verification of eligibility.
Duration of Discount:
a. The Young Alumni Season Ticket Discount will be available for a specified duration as determined by the URI Athletics Department.
b. Any changes to the discount duration will be communicated in advance to eligible individuals.
Policy Review:
a. This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.
b. Any necessary changes or updates will be made in consultation with relevant stakeholders, such as the URI Athletics Department, The Ryan Center, and Alumni Relations Office.
Policy Compliance:
a. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in this policy may result in the revocation of the Young Alumni Season Ticket Discount.
b. Violations or fraudulent use of the discount may be subject to disciplinary actions in accordance with university policies and procedures.
