How it Happened
Both sides had multiple quality chances, but Rhode Island and Brown played to a scoreless draw Tuesday night.
The action really picked up over the final 20 minutes. URI's
Isak Oystese nearly scored on a header in the 81st minute, but his shot went just wide of the far post.
Minutes later,
Kevin Castaneda curled a shot toward the upper right 90 that just went over the crossbar for the goal kicker.
In the 86th minute, Brown's Kojo Dadzie got behind the Rhody defense for a breakaway, but keeper
Edu Rodriguez was able to knock the shot away.
Brett Schwab nearly scored in spectacular fashion with 90 seconds to go when he put a bicycle kick on target. Brown keeper Hudson Blatteis made the stop. The Bears had the final chance when Noah Atanda put a low shot on target with 30 seconds to go, but Rodriguez was there again, preserving the tie.
