KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island Rowing sent its NCAA boats and its Third Varsity 8+ to the Lake Morey Regatta in Fairlee, Vt. on Saturday morning.

The Rams had some tight margins against Northeastern in their first session before falling behind No. 22 Dartmouth in the second session. 

URI's Varsity 8+ of Hailey Pardi, Bella Bruno, Amanda Cubit, Nora Lake, Bethany Nordstrom, Emma Barnhart, Abigail Galayda, Brigid McShea and coxswain Ellie McGee had the team's closest finish of the regatta, trailing the Huskies by about a length in their first race of the dy.
