University of Rhode Island

Jodi Pontbriand joined the Rhode Island staff in the summer of 2006. She currently serves as the contact for baseball, men's soccer, women's volleyball and golf. In 2019, she was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director.

Prior to joining the Rhody staff, Pontbriand spent two years as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletic Media Relations office at Providence College. While earning a master's degree in Business Administration, she worked specifically with the women's soccer and tennis teams and also assisted with game-day operations for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, softball and men's lacrosse.

A native of Auburn, Maine, Pontbriand was a double-major at Johnson & Wales University, where she earned degrees in Travel/Tourism Marketing and Sports/Entertainment/Event Management.
