Nicole Poloski begins her eighth year working with theUniversity of Rhode Island academic support team in2012-13. In her role, Poloski is responsible for academicadvising the URI men's soccer, baseball and women's basketballteams throughout the year. She also assists class selection,monitors academic progress, gives recommendation fortutoring/academic based services and monitors study hallhours. 

A 2001 graduate of Providence College, Poloski earned a Bachelorof Arts in Marketing. During her four years with the Friars, sheplayed field hockey under her maiden name, Nicole LaBranche. Theyear following her undergraduate graduation, she received herMasters of Education in Counseling, also from ProvidenceCollege.
