2012-13 (RS JUNIOR): OUTDOOR: Finished fifth in the decathlon with 7,075 points at the IC4A Championship. His score was also a school record… Earned an individual A-10 title in the decathlon, scoring 7,015 points at the Atlantic 10 Championship. Also finished second in the javelin (198’2)… Won the high jump (2.05m) at the Brown Open… Finished fourth in the discus (142’9) at Holy Cross… At the Sam Howell Invitational, finished seventh in the javelin (179’11)… Finished third in the 110m hurdles (15.90) and in the javelin (190’8) at the UConn Invitational. Also finished fourth in the shot put (44’9.75) and fifth in the discus (149’4).

INDOOR: Finished third in the heptathlon (5286) at the IC4A Championship, winning the high jump (6’11) and the 1000m run (2:39.46)… Won the heptathlon (5227) at the New England Championship, setting a new meet record in the event… Won the heptathlon (4913) and finished sixth in the high jump (1.99m) at the Atlantic 10 Championship… Had the second best height in the high jump (6’7.5) at the URI Heptathlon… Placed first in the high jump (6'8.25) at the Harvard Open on Dec. 8.

2011-12 (JUNIOR): OUTDOOR: At the AIC Yellow Jacket Invitational, placed sixth in the discuss throw (42.40m) and the javelin throw (51.55m)... At the UConn Decathlon, finished second breaking his own record and being the first in URI history to score more than 7,000 points with 7,062... At Brown's Springtime Open took ninth in the javelin throw (52.07m), 14th in the discus (41.86m) and 18th in the shot put (13.29m).

2010-11 (SOPHOMORE): OUTDOOR: Placed 14th (38.55m) in the discuss and 15th in the shot put (11.79m) at the Bryant Invitational... Finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.94m and 12th in the 110m hurdles in a time of 16.83 at the Husky Invitational... Set the school record for points in a decathlon with 6614 to finish eighth at the Sea Ray Relays... Earned Atlantic 10 Conference Co-Performer of the Week honors following his performance at the Sea Ray Relays... Finished ninth in the high jump with a mark of 1.95m at the Larry Ellis Invitational.

INDOOR: Placed second (1.99m) in the high jump and tenth (11.91m) in the shot put at the URI Sorlien Invitational... Was runner-up in the high jump with a mark of 1.99m at the U.S. Navy Invitational... Posted a runner-up finish in the heptathlon with 4894 points at the Harvard Multi-Meet... Finished ninth in the heptathlon with 3903 while being limited by injury at the Atlantic 10 Championships... Placed 14th in the high jump with a mark of 1.99m at the IC4A Championship. 

2009-10 (FRESHMAN): OUTDOOR: Finished second in the high jump (1.99m) at the UConn Alumni Invite.

INDOOR: Named Atlantic 10 Track & Field Rookie of the Week following performance at the Sorlien Invitational, finishing second in the heptathlon with 4, 441 points... Placed third in the high jump at the Terrier Invitataional. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in cross country and indoor/outdoor track at Sutton High School... Captained cross country and track & field teams as a junior and senior... Won multiple league and district titles in both cross country and indoor/outdoor track... Played the trumpet in concert, jazz and pep bands.

PERSONAL: Born March 15, 1991... Son of Mark and Jane Baltzell... Has one brother, Evan and one sister, Kelsey... Lists Trey Hardee as his favorite athlete.
