HIGH SCHOOL: Attended St. Raphael Academy where he was salutatorian of his 2010 graduating class... Participated in Lasallian Youth community service... Ran cross-country, indoor track and outdoor track all four years... Captained cross-country, indoor and outdoor his sophomore to senior years... In 2008-09, awarded All-Class XC... In 2009, All-Division Indoor 3000m, All-Class Outdoor 4x8 and JV State Champions 4x8 (anchor)... In 2010, All-Division Indoor 1500m and 1000m and All-Division Outdoor 800m... Academic All-State Coaches Award.
PERSONAL: Born December 2, 1991... Son of Patricia and Keith Burkett... Has two older sisters, Hayley and Meredith... Hayley graduated CCRI in 2009 and Meredith in 2011... Enjoys running and architecture... Favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine and favorite team is the New England Patriots... Majoring in civil engineering.
