University of Rhode Island

Christine Middleton begins her first year at the University of Rhode Island in 2015-16. A licensed athletic trainer since 2012, she will work primarily with URI's women's basketball and tennis teams.

Middleton previously has worked with the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun and also has spent time at Mitchell College, The Williams School and Wilbur Cross High School. 

Originally from Colchester, Conn., Middleton graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. During her time at SHU, she worked with the University's men’s soccer, women’s hockey, softball, football and men’s volleyball teams as well as various club sports and several high schools teams in the surrounding area.

Middleton also had a successful track & field career, earning numerous NEC Field Performer awards dueing her four years with the Pioneers.
