- Attended Doherty High School, where she played tennis
- Played No. 1 singles for her team as a senior
- Was a Student Council Representative and participated in the school's Suicide Prevention Team

- Born Aug. 23, 2002
- Daughter of Jennifer and Scott Shewey
- Has two brothers, Jake and Ryne
- Also considered attending the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and the University of Northern Colorado
- Chose Rhode Island because of the wide range of programs and resources available to students
- Enjoys playing tennis and reading
- Favorite team is the Boston Red Sox
- Majoring in Psychology
