Following a stellar four-year career at Rhode Island, Lily Herberger joined the Rhode Island coaching staff as a graduate assistant before the 2016-17 season.

A two-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection, Herberger was one of 11 women named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division I Region I First Team during her senior season. It was the second time she earned CRCA All-Region honors, as she was a second-team selection in 2015.

During her career, Herberger led the Rams to a pair of Atlantic 10 titles and the first two NCAA Championship appearances in program history. 

A native of East Greenwich, R.I., Herberger earned a degree in Animal Science from Rhode Island in 2016.
