- Was a nine-time Masters National medalist (6 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze)

- Daughter of Paola and David Dumeer
- Has one brother, Jonathan
- Also considered attending Marist, Delaware, New Hampshire and Connecticut
- Chose Rhode Island because, "I spent a lot of time in Rhode Island growing up, so looking into the university was a natural step for me. The University of Rhode Island felt comfortable to me during my official visit. The team provided a welcoming atmosphere and seems as though they were a family that I wanted to be a part of."
