2011-12 (FRESHMAN):

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Cheshire High School... Swam for four years, earning four varsity letters... Swam on Cheshire YMCA C-Dogs for eight years, Copper Valley Club Swim and Tennis for four years and Southington YMCA Stingrays for one and a half years... Received most improved in 2006, 2007 and 2009... All-State Academic Athlete (2010)... Set pool record in 200 medley relay at Southington YMCA... Team earned National Record Holders for most consecutive won dual meets, having won 276 meets... Four-year career at CHS, record was 50-0... SCC four years... State finals four years... State Opens one year... Earned yearbook award... Participated in Parent/Teacher/Student organization, yearbook editor, CHS girls swimming and diving, PeaceIam, B-1 Day Panel speaker, Lights of Hope and Arts Day.

PERSONAL: Born August 14, 1993... Daughter of Nancy and Daniel Collins... Has one sister, Christine, who attends Keene State College (2013)... Christine plays lacrosse at KSC... Father played soccer for four years at Kings College... Cousin Dan Ruddy played rugby at Villanova for four years... Cousin Paul Ruddy played rugby at Seton Hall for four years... Cousin Sarah Ruddy played rugby at St. Joseph's for four years... Enjoys photography, cliff jumping, hiking, reading, spending time with family... Lists Derek Jeter as favorite athlete and the New York Yankees, New York Giants, Alabama Crimson Tide football and the Boston Celtics as her favorite teams... Majoring in Political Science.
