Biography
2012-13 (Senior): Outdoor: Ran to a fifth place finish in the 5000m run (17:16.53) at the Atlantic 10 Championship… Finished third in the 3000m run (10:04.16) at the Brown Invitational.
Indoor: Placed second in the distance medley (12:26.17) at the Coaches Tribute Invitational… Finished eighth in the 800m run (2:25.84) at the Sorlien Invitational.
2011-12 (Junior): Did not compete.
2010-11 (Sophomore): Outdoor: Finished ninth in the 1500m run in a time of 4:39.44 and was a member of the 4x400m relay team that placed 13th at the UCF Invitational...Placed 14th in the 1,500m run and ninth in the 4x400m relay at the UConn All-Region Invitational... Finished fifth in the 3,000m run at the Brown Outdoor Invitational.
2009-10 (Freshman): Outdoor: Won the 800m run and finished fourth in the 1500m at the Bryant Invitational... Won the 1500m at the UConn Select Invite in a time of 4:52.21... Helped the 4x400m relay team to a second place finish, while finishing 10th in the 1500m run at the A-10 Championships... Apart of the 4x800m relay team that finished ninth at the ECAC Championships.
Indoor: Recorded a time of 5:06.36 in the mile run a the Boston Terrier Invitational.
2007-08: Did not compete.
High School: Ran cross country and track... named captain of indoor and outdoor track 2007 and 2008... awarded Scholastic All Star.
Personal: Born March 21, 1990... daughter of Maryann and Peter Zaccardi... has one sibling- Andrew, 14... enjoys dinning at IHOP... cites the Red Sox as favorite team... Journalism major at URI.
