University of Rhode Island

Alan Conklin is in his first year with the University of RhodeIsland Athletic Department. Alan will fill the position ofmarketing and ticket sales assistant, where he will help developand implement marketing campaigns for football, men’s andwomen’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, andsoftball. He will also play a major role in the selling of seasontickets, mini-plans, and group tickets for football, andmen’s and women’s basketball. 

Alan, a native of San Diego, Calif., graduated from GonzagaUniversity in May 2013, earning his bachelor’s degree inSport Management, with minors in Business and Promotions. During his time as a student, Alan interned with a number of sportsorganizations, including the Spokane Shock of the Arena FootballLeague and the Los Angeles Blues of the United Soccer League.

He currently resides in Narragansett, R.I. and is an avid SanDiego Chargers and Padres fan.
