Ashley Douglass enters her second season as an assistant coachafter joining Bob Schneck's coaching staff in August of 2013.

Still an active player for the Newport Volleyball Club, Douglassis rated as a B level outside hitter. She was an assistant varsityvolleyball coach with the Blackford County School system inHartford City, In. from 2006 through 2009.

Douglass is a health care specialist for the Rhode Island ArmyNational Guard, where she has been since 2008. She also has workedwith Herbalife as a wellness coach since August of 2011.

Douglass earned a degree in Elementary Education from SaintJoseph’s College (Ind.). She was a starting libero for SaintJoseph's for three seasons and was a four-time high schoolAll-American.
