Matt Urban joined head coach Joe Trainer's staff as theassistant defensive backs and cornerbacks coach on Feb. 27, 2012. Asafety for Trainer during his playing career, Urban will workclosely with defensive backs coach Ryan Mattison.

Urban spent five years in the program as a player, appearing in 31games and recording 76 tackles, five interceptions and two sacksfrom 2006-10.
