Women's Soccer Falls To St. Joseph's, 1-0

KINGSTON, R.I. - The University of Rhode Island women's soccer team dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision against St. Joseph's in an Atlantic 10 contest in Philadelphia, Pa., on Sunday afternoon.

Rhode Island out shot St. Joseph's 16-5 for the game, but allowed a goal in the 65th minute from senior Kim Dwyer to give the Hawks a 1-0 win.

URI senior keeper Kate Hirsch made three saves in goal. The Rams, now 8-5-1, 3-3-1 in the Atlantic 10, return to action on Friday, Oct. 26 when they travel to George Washington for an A-10 matchup at 3:00 p.m.
