KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island junior setter Inga Schlecht totaled 24 assists and four kills on only five attacks but it was George Washington sweeping the Rams, 3-0 (30-23, 30-23, 30-21), in Atlantic 10 women's volleyball action this evening in Keaney Gymnasium.

Senior middle blocker Abigail Hatter tallied 13 kills on 16 swings with only one error for a sizzling .750 hitting percentage, along with four blocks, to lead George Washington (8-12, 2-5 A-10). Senior middle blocker Shannon Parks added a match-high 14 kills for the Colonials.

Freshman outside hitter Jillian Bekke compiled a team-high eight kills for URI (6-13, 1-5 A-10).

Rhode Island caps a six-match homestand, Sunday, when it takes on Charlotte at 2:00 p.m.
