BRONX, N.Y. -- Rhode Island ended its 2010 season with a 2-0 loss at Fordham.

With the loss, URI finishes with a 3-13-2 overall record and a 3-5-1 mark in Atlantic 10 play.

After a scoreless first half, Fordham got on the scoreboard in the 53rd minute. Mariella Romano took a chip pass into the box and shot it to the top middle of the goal, past Rhody goalkeeper Sasha Reiber.

Fordham added its second score in the 68th minute, as Kelley Alpaugh found the back of the net.

Reiber ended the game with four saves. Her counterpart, Rachel Suther, stopped all three URI shots on-goal. Fordham outshot Rhode Island, 11-7, in the match. Both teams attempted four corner kicks and each side was whistled offsides six times.
