Inside the Box Score:

• Maine finished 52.3% (23-44) from the field after connecting at a 56.5% clip in the second half. Rhody, meanwhile, was 30.2% for the game on 19-of-63 shooting.
• Boone and Rivera each sank a trio of 3-pointers for URI while Williams and Anderson had two apiece for the Black Bears.
• URI connected on 14-of-22 attempts from the free throw line while UMaine went 12-for-18.
• Rhody held a 37-34 edge in rebounding and was dominant on the offensive glass with a 23-9 advantage.
• The Rams forced the Black Bears into 24 turnovers while committing 17 of their own. Nearly half (27) of URI's 58 points were the direct result of Maine turning the ball over.
• Rhode Island led just twice in the game - once in the first half (2-0; 19:33) and once in the second half (58-57; 1:08).

• Rivera and Boone chipped in with 11 points each while Coia had nine and Cloutier added eight.
• Williams (19), Roberts (15) and Anderson (10) all put up double-digit point totals for the Black Bears. Roberts also pulled down a game-high eight rebounds.

Additional Notes:

• Boone has now scored in double figures in back-to-back games for the Rams. Entering this season, she had only reached double figures once (10 points vs. Charlotte - 1/19/11)
• With the loss, Rhody drops to 11-12 in the all-time series with Maine. Head coach Cathy Inglese, meanwhile, is now 11-13 all-time against the Black Bears.
• Rhode Island is now 0-1 at the Ryan Center and 0-1 on the road.

What's Next:
Rhody remains in Kingston for a Wednesday night matchup with in-state rival Providence. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Ryan Center. Rhode Island - which is 9-33 in the all-time series with PC - has won two of the last seven meetings between the two teams dating back to the 2003-04 season. The last time the Rams and Friars met - on Nov. 17, 2010 - PC posted a 71-40 victory.
