Game Notes | Live Stats | Live Video

KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhody travels to Harvard for a Tuesday night tilt with the Crimson - the second of seven consecutive road games for the Rams. Tip-off at Lavietes Pavillion is set for 7:00 p.m.

RHODE ISLAND vs. HARVARD
Rhode Island holds a slight 7-6 advantage in the all-time series vs. Harvard. The last time the Rams and Crimson met - on Nov. 22, 2005 - Harvard posted a 77-48 win at the Ryan Center. URI's last win over the Crimson was a 73-57 victory on Dec. 20, 2003. Rhode Island has not posted a win in Cambridge since Dec. 13, 1995.

COACH INGLESE vs. HARVARD
Third-year head coach Cathy Inglese has turned in a 4-7 all-time mark against Harvard. As the head coach at Vermont, Inglese was 3-4 before going 1-3 at Boston College.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
Harvard enters the contest looking for its first win of the season after dropping three straight games to Iowa (90-81), Butler (69-68) and Providence (71-60). The Crimson - which were picked to finish second (of eight) in the Ivy League preseason poll - are led by a trio of players averaging double figures: Christine Clark (18.3 ppg/5.3 rpg), Brogan Berry (15.0 ppg/4.7 apg) and Victoria Lippert (13.0 ppg/4.3 rpg). Emma Golen is the team's top rebounder (5.7 rpg). Collectively, Harvard is shooting 42.5% (76-179) from the field and 78.4% (40-51) from the free throw line while averaging 36.3 rebounds per game.

SPREADING OUT THE OFFENSE
URI has had three double-digit scorers in each of their last three games (Providence, Maine, Siena). Only once in each of the last two seasons did the Rams have three consecutive games with three or more players in double figures.

GETTING DEFENSIVE
Rhody has recorded 22 steals in the last three games while forcing Maine, Providence, and Siena into a combined 56 turnovers. The Rams have also blocked six shots over this three-game span.

CLOUTIER SETS CAREER-HIGHS IN BACK-TO-BACK GAMES
Emilie Cloutier netted a career-high 14 points and three steals in Rhody's win over Providence. The sophomore forward followed that performance with a career-best seven rebounds just three days later at Siena.

RIVALRY RENEWED
Rhody recorded its first-ever Ryan Center victory over in-state rival Providence on Nov. 16. The Rams - who shot 44.7% (17-38) from field while holding Providence to a 30.8% (16-52) showing - never trailed in the game, en route to their first win over the Friars since the 2008-09 season. It also marked Rhody's first victory over PC in Kingston since Dec. 1, 1998. Entering the game, Rhode Island had won just one of the last six meetings between the teams.
