How it Happened:
Samantha
Leyh found the back of the net in the 68th minute, set up by a
corner kick from Jennifer
Barrientos. Leyh scored off a volley on the right side of the
net, beating Seawolves' keeper Chelsea Morales.
What it Means:
Rhode Island captures its first road victory of the season - and
its second consecutive win. It marks the first time Rhody has
posted two straight victories since the 2009 season.
Inside the Box Score and Beyond:
- Rhody continues to outshoot its opponents. Through three games,
the Rams have attempted 62 shots (29 on-goal), as opposed to 21 for
the other side (6 on-goal).

Lindsey posted back-to-back shutouts in goal for Rhode Island
for the first time since the 2008 season, when the Rams earned a
pair of 1-09 victories over Xavier (Oct. 12) and UMass (Oct.
16).
