KINGSTON, R.I. - On Sunday afternoon, Rhode Island returns to action at home when it hosts Syracuse at 1 p.m. at the URI Soccer Complex.

The Rams (2-0-1) are coming off a 1-0 win at Stony Brook on Sept. 1. Freshman Samantha Leyh tallied her first collegiate goal off a corner kick in the 68th minute. Reilly Lindsey registered her second consecutive shutout in the win.

Syracuse enters Sunday's match with a two-game unbeaten streak. Last time out - Sept. 1 - the Orange tied #6 Boston College, 0-0, in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

Rhody captured the lone previous meeting versus the Orange - a 3-1 victory on Sept. 9, 2007.
