- With the loss, Rhode Island drops to 1-17 overall and 0-3 in the Atlantic 10. URI also drops to 18-12 in the all-time series vs. Fordham (10-8, 1-2) which picked up its first 20-point win of the season.
- URI shot 38.2% on the afternoon, hitting 21-of-55 attempts from the field. Fordham, meanwhile, connected at a 40% (24-60) clip and hit eight three pointers and 13-of-19 attempts from the foul line.
- Rhody was 0-for-11 from the perimeter, marking the second time this seasons that they Rams fail to connect from three-point territory.
- Fordham held a 43-33 rebounding advantage, including a 21-14 edge on the offensive glass. It is the fourth time this season that Rhode Island has allowed 20-or-more offensive boards.
- Rivera and Corinne Coia led URI with 10 points apiece. Coia and Kerry Wallack each grabbed a team-best eight rebounds.
- Fordham's Becky Peters led all players with 20 points. Arielle Collins also scored in double figures for Fordham, finishing with 15 points and a game-high five assists.

Rhode Island returns to the Ryan Center to face George Washington on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. URI is 6-35 in the all-time series vs. the Colonials, having won two of the last three contests between the teams. Rhody's last win over GW was a 59-52 victory in Kingston on Jan. 12, 2010. The last time the Rams and Colonials faced one another (Feb. 2, 2011), URI suffered a 53-35 setback in the Nation's capital. In that game, Megan Shoniker netted a game-high 15 points while Caitlin Kearns led all players with 12 rebounds and three steals. Over her 24+ years as a head coach, Cathy Inglese has compiled a 2-4 record against GW, going 0-1 at Vermont, 1-2 at Boston College and 1-1 at Rhode Island.
