How it Happened:
Maggie MacDonald's first half goal proved to be the gamewinner, as the Rams held on for a 1-0 victory over George Washington.
MacDonald tallied her second goal of the season in the 28th minute, as Jennifer Barrientos served up a pinpoint accurate pass into the box. Ashley Boyle collected the pass and headed it toward the net before MacDonald put it past GW goalkeeper Nicole Fasano.

Rhode Island dominated the shot count, 12-4 - including a 7-1 edge in the second half.
The Rams' defense also played strong, holding the Colonials without a shot on-goal. It marked the second time Rhody's D blanked an opponent in scoring opportunities (vs. Manhattan, Sept. 9).
Chelsea Broghamer improved to 6-2 overall on the season and 2-2 in A-10 play. It marked her second shutout victory of the year.

The Rams play their final home game of the regular season on Sunday, Oct. 21 when Charlotte visits the URI Soccer Complex. It will also mark the final regular season home game for URI's seniors, who will be honored prior to the match.
