Rhode Island's Individual Results:
* After a 1-under par opening round of 69, Branden Chicorka finished up the day with 76, to put him at 145 (+5). The senior is tied for seventh place overall heading into tomorrow's final round, just five shots off the lead.
* Andrew Fiorenzano is tied for 25th place. He shined in the morning session, posting a score of 72 before battling the windy afternoon with a round of 79. His two-round total is 151.
* Jeffrey Ray, competing as an individual, is tied for 35th place after Monday's first two rounds. He opened with a 78, but followed that up with the team's low score of the second round, with a 75.
* Jared Adams is in 38th place, three shots behind Fiorenzano. Adams posted a 76 during the first 18 holes of play before coming back with a 78 in the second round.
* One shot behind Adams is newcomer Nick Fairweather. He posted scores of 78 and 77 in his first tournament as a collegiate golfer.
* Matt Montt shot 77 and 79, putting him in a tie for 43rd place after the first two round.
* Two other Rhody rookies - Matt Goldman and Nick Celestino - saw their first collegiate tournament action today. Goldman (83-81=164) is in 63rd place, while Celestino is tied for 65th (87-79).
* David Gosselin rounded out the Rhode Island golf contingency in a tie for 67th place after the first 36 holes (85-85=170).
* UCF's Ricardo Gouveia and Yale's Sam Bernstein are tied atop the individual scoreboard, at an even-par 140.
Rhode Island Team Results:
* The Rams sit in ninth place, compiling a team score of 606 (294-312).
* On the team leaderboard, just one shot separates the Golden Knights (575) and Bulldogs (576). Villanova sits in third place (593).

Rhode Island concludes play in the 2012 Adams Cup of Newport with tomorrow's final 18 holes of play, to be held at the Carnegie Abbey Golf Club.
