Rhode Island's Individual Results:
- Nick Fairweather shot a team-best 76, tying him for third place overall.
- Branden Chicorka and Andrew Fiorenzano shot a 77, both are tied for seventh place overall. Fiorenzano hit par on 12 holes, tying him for the most on the day.
- Jeffrey Ray shot an 80 on the day, which ties him for 23rd overall.
- Jared Adams shot an 81 and is tied for 27th.
- The overall leader is Nathan Pereira of American International College, who shot a 73.
Rhode Island Team Results:
The Rams are in first place after Day One of the Rhody Invitational with a score of 310. Three teams are within five strokes - Sacred Heart (313), Delaware (314) and Canisius (315). Rhode Island's depth was evident, as the Rams had three players among the top seven scores in the field.
