Box Score How It Happened:
In a tightly contested game the Rams were able to come out on top 1-0 against the Albany Great Danes.
The Rams got on the board in the 27th minute of the game on a goal by Samantha Leyh. Jennifer Barrientos rocketed a corner kick into the box where the ball bounced around a couple of times before Leyh could finally knock it in.
In the last minutes of the game Albany really stepped up their game as they had several scoring chances in an effort to tie up the game. They had a corner kick with three minutes remaining where they almost scored.
However, the Rams were able to play great defense to shut out the Great Danes and grab the win.

- With the win, Rhode Island improves to 5-5-0, while Albany drops to 1-8-0 overall.
- Rhode Island held a 17-12 advantage in total shots, including a 11-5 edge in shots on goal.
- The teams both had three corner kicks.
- The Great Danes also committed 13 fouls to Rhody's seven.
- Chelsea Broghamer picked up her second win of the season in goal.
- Donika Murray led all Ram players with five shots on the afternoon, including four on goal.

- The win improved URI's record to 3-2-0 at home this season.
- The game marked the first start of Donika Murray's career.
