How It Happened
The Rams battled in their sixth overtime match of the season but came up short, dropping a 2-1 decision at Saint Louis on Sunday afternoon 2-1. After the two teams went scoreless into the first half, SLU got on the board in the 50th minute after a shot that narrowly beat Rhody keeper Katie Nickles. Nine minutes later, Nicole Brennan scored the equalizer on a point blank shot inside the penalty area, tying the match at 1-1. Into the extra period, SLU registered its gamewinning score in the 95th minute.
