How It Happened
Allyson Reynolds found the back of the net in the 27th minute - her fourth goal of the season - which gave Rhody a 1-0 lead.  The play began off the foot of Jaileen Goncalves before Reynolds beat Duquesne GK Kyra Murphy near the right upper 90 from about eight yards out.  URI maintained the 1-0 lead into halftime.

The freshman from Weymouth, Mass. struck again in 55th minute on a beautiful left-to-right ball from about 25 yards out.  That goal was unassisted extended the Rhody lead to 2-0.

• Allyson Reynolds became the first Rhody freshman since Ellie Bailes in 2012 to register five goals in a season.
• This was the third time a Rhody player tallied two goals in a match in 2016: Reynolds vs. St. Bonaventure and Taylor Ross vs. Maine
• Katie Nickles registered her 11th career shutout and fifth clean sheet of the 2016 season.
• The senior GK registered seven saves on the afternoon and was supported by an outstanding defensive effort from the Rams' backline for all 90 minutes of the match.
