How It Happened
Allyson Reynolds found the back of the net in the 27th minute - her fourth goal of the season - which gave Rhody a 1-0 lead. The play began off the foot of Jaileen Goncalves before Reynolds beat Duquesne GK Kyra Murphy near the right upper 90 from about eight yards out. URI maintained the 1-0 lead into halftime.
The freshman from Weymouth, Mass. struck again in 55th minute on a beautiful left-to-right ball from about 25 yards out. That goal was unassisted extended the Rhody lead to 2-0.
