How It Happened
Richmond's Lexi Prillman recorded the first goal of the match in the 21st minute and made it 2-0 before halftime as UR's Brooke Beam found the back of the net in the 36th minute. Rhody struck just 21 seconds into the second half of play as Rachael Lieberman halved the deficit. The Spiders would eventually hold the lead for the remainder of the half.
