Gainsville, Fla - Nick Danner and Mahlik Handley kicked off the three days of competition for the Rams on Thursday at the Pepsi Track & Field Florida Relays hosted by the University of Florida. 

Junior Nick Danner placed 12th in the javelin throw with a final distance of 59.94m. Classmate Mahlik Handley placed 17th in the hammer throw with a throw of 56.58m. Both of these marks are tops in the Atlantic 10 conference so far this season for these events.
