How It Happened
Donika Murray scored her first goal of the season in the 40th minute, converting a turnover by Fordham into the first goal of the match. URI took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.
In the 58th minute, Fordham's Brooke Salmon tied the match with a blast from the top of the box that beat URI goalkeeper Katie Nickles to the upper right 90.
Both teams played even through the overtime periods, with three shot attempts apiece.
