How it Happened
Rhode Island (3-9-0, 0-4-0 A-10) dropped its fourth straight game Sunday afternoon at the URI Soccer Complex, falling to visiting La Salle, 2-0.

The Explorers (9-3-1, 4-0-0) got the only offense they would need midway through the first half as a shot on goal by URI's Taylor Ross quickly led to La Salle's first goal of the game. Ross had her 26th-minute shot stopped by goalkeeper Larisa Zambelli, who drove a goal kick the length of the field and connected with Maci Bower at the other end. Bower then netted her fifth goal of the season to give the Explorers a 1-0 advantage.

Marcela Robinson tacked on an insurance tally at the 39:37 mark, heading in an Emily Wilkinson corner kick.
