On day two of the UConn Multi-Event Challenge, Rhode Island sophomore Stephen Cirella finished with 4549 points, good for sixth place.

Highlights From the Heptathlon

• Cirella ran the 60m hurdles in 9.22s, finished with 3.20m in the pole vault, and clocked in 3:09.96 in the 1000m.
• Freshman Daniel O'Neil finished in 11th place with 4183 total points. He ran the 60m hurdles in 9.22s, finished with 2.80m in the pole vault, and clocked in 2:59.10 in the 1000m.
