How it Happened
Rhode Island scored once in each half and kept Saint Joseph's off the board through the full 90 minutes to win 2-0 Saturday night in Philadelphia.
Rohun Kawale netted what proved to be the only goal Rhody would need when he slipped in a Peder Kristiansen corner kick in the 33rd minute.
Stavros Zarokostas added an unassisted insurance goal exactly 37 minutes later as he took the ball down the left flank and beat SJU's Joseph Boehm with a low shot to the opposite post. The Hawks managed just one more shot through the remaining 20 minutes of regulation - a 87th minute attempt which was blocked by the Rhody defense.
