How it Happened
Rhode Island and Duquesne played to a scoreless tie in the regular-season finale for both sides Sunday afternoon.
The game was halted at the end of regulation by the officials due to poor weather conditions. With the tie, the visiting Dukes clinched a spot in the Atlantic 10 playoffs.
Rhode Island junior keeper Julia Freeman made four saves to record the shutout. Her counterpart, Duquesne's Megan Virgin, made three saves to earn her own shutout.
