KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island was picked to finish 11th in the 2020-21 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Preseason Poll, the conference announced Monday. The Rams, coming off a 13-16 season under Tammi Reiss in her first year at the helm, welcome seven new faces - including four transfers - to the court in 2020-21.
In voting among the A-10's head coaches, VCU was projected to win the league with 10 first place votes, while defending champion Dayton was selected to finish second with two first place votes. Saint Louis was picked third with one first place vote, and Davidson, Duquesne (1), and Fordham tied to finish fourth.
