Set One – Rhode Island 25, George Washington 16
Rhode Island opened on a 10-2 run and never let GW back in it, scoring 22 of their 25 points on kills.The best the Colonials could do was trim the deficit to five points – at 19-14, 20-15 and 21-16 – but 16 was their final point as the Rams got three kills and a service ace to finish things off at 25-16.

Set Two – Rhode Island 25, George Washington 18
The Rams scored the first point of the second set, but did not lead again until a Brynne Wright kill made it 11-10 Rhody. A 7-3 push then stretched Rhode Island's lead to 18-13 and the Rams did not allow GW consecutive points the rest of the way, cruising to the 25-18 win.

Set Three – Rhode Island 25, George Washington 20
The Colonials managed 11 kills in the final set – their most in a single set for the match – but also had six errors which helped Rhode Island complete the three-set sweep. On the opposite end of the court, Rhody scored seven of the first 10 points and never let GW get closer than two points until an attack error made it URI 15, GW 14. Another error by the Rams allowed the Colonials to tie the score at 19-19, but Rhody closed on a 5-1 run to win it 25-20.

Inside the Box Score
  • Senior Ella Ratzloff finished the day with 16 kills, giving her 407 for the season. She is now the first player in program history to record 400+ digs in multiple seasons, as she finished the 2019 season with 485 digs.
  • Ratzloff also had two service aces and five assists.
  • Sophomore Brynne Wright led Rhode Island with 14 kills while senior Mariah Paulette added 11.
  • Grad student Jamie Smith was the third Ram with double-digit kills, finishing the match with 10, as well as five digs, two blocks and two service aces.
  • Freshman Brittany Myers added eight kills, six digs and three aces.
  • Senior Tori Britton finished with seven kills and three blocks, including one solo.
  • Freshman Grace Hammond had 42 assists, six digs, one service ace, one kill and one block assist.
  • Senior Abby Fillion and freshman Hannah Blaney each added seven digs.
