How it Happened
Rhode Island earned its first conference win in a come-from-behind 2-1 victory on the road at Saint Joseph's Saturday.

The Hawks struck first, as Aleksa Peev fed a shot for Izzy Greene to find the back of the net for an early 1-0 start. Brooke Osmanski had two opportunities to equalize but was unable, and the Rams went into the half scoreless.

Rhody got on the board twice in the second half in goals less than six minutes apart. After a shot on the frame by Laila Rosenthal drew a corner kick, Tory Bike was able to knock one in from Alyssa Fleming's cross to even the score. The Rams added to their advantage less than six minutes later, as a shot by Brooke Cavino was deflected by a Hawk defender who tried to clear the ball but found the back of the net.

Freshman keeper Carly Travers made two big saves in the time remaining to keep the Rams in front en route to their first A-10 win of the season.
