Set One – Fordham 25, Rhode Island 11
Fordham recorded kills on more than half of its swings (9-of-15) in the opening set and had just one attack error. Meanwhile Rhode Island managed just seven kills on 19 attempts with six errors. The home Rams also benefitted from seven aces – five of which came from Mallory Lipski – and claimed 10 of the first 15 points. Rhody's last kill cut Fordham's lead to 15-8, but the hosts outscored Rhode Island 10-3 down the stretch to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
Set Two – Fordham 25, Rhode Island 15
Rhode Island did not lead at any point in the second set and was held to just seven kills while Fordham racked up 16. The Bronx Rams opened on a 6-0 run and never let Rhody back in it. URI was unable to get closer than four (7-3) as Fordham remained in control and eased its way to the 25-15 win.
Set Three – Fordham 25, Rhode Island 22
The third set was much closer than the previous two, but still Rhode Island never led. Similar to the second set, the hosts scored the first six points, but this time URI slowly battled back and eventually tied the score at 21 apiece. However, a
Brynne Wright kill was the final point of the set for Rhody as Fordham took four of the last five to complete the sweep.

- Fordham – which also defeated Rhode Island 3-0 back on Oct. 5 – joins Loyola as the only teams to win six straight sets against URI this season.
- Rhode Island's starting lineup was the team's 15th different lineup in 27 matches this season.
